I've really been enjoying the Complete shakes..like immensely! I try to make a new recipe each day, but a lot of times when I'm on the go I just throw a scoop of chocolate or vanilla in my blender bottle (with almond milk) and hit the road. Which is awesome too. These plant based protein powders are no joke, yummy!
These yummy shakes can definitely help with weight loss! Especially if you're like me and chocolate milkshakes are your BFF. This is a great lower calorie alternative, and it's plant based! So healthy! It also works out to be about $2 per shake (plus whatever ingredients you add: milk, veg, fruit, etc) Which is also great for my lil budget.
Okok so here are to favorites from this week!
(Very)Thin Mint Chocolate Cookie
1/2 scoop chocolate Complete
1/2 scoop vanilla Complete
1 big handful of fresh spinach
1-2 drops food grade peppermint oil
1 cup almond milk
4ish ice cubes
Blend it!

Chocolate Berry Truffle
I have to be totally honest here...I'm not a berry smoothie/shake person at all...When I added the berries I thought "Great..I've ruined it"...but you know what? I loved it SO much. And think of all those antioxidants! W00T!)
1 scoop chocolate Complete
1 cup almond milk (or rice/coconut/other milk)
3/4 to 1 cup frozen mixed berries
Blend it on up!
THAT'S IT!!! So few ingredients and oh my, did it taste like a dessert! It reminded me of See's raspberry truffle candies.
